Ming Jiang Zhu 905 Violin
Ming Jiang Zhu is a world-class luthier with over 20 international awards to his name—and counting! He has won Gold twice at the prestigious Violin Society of America’s bi-annual competition and two silver. He is a master Luthier that works ardently in the pursuit of the elusive original Strad sound. Time Magazine has said of Mr. Zhu, “China can now lay claim to producing a contemporary equivalent to the famed Stradivarius.”
Antonio Strad Violin is proud to feature Mr. Zhu’s workshop instruments. His violins, violas, and cellos have beautiful Italian details with highly flamed Maple backs and evenly grained Spruce tops, all from well-seasoned, longer preserved woods. He creates an oil, antique finish by hand. Those fortunate enough to already own or auditioned one of these remarkable instruments are amazed by the even, powerful, tone even before “breaking-in”. The sound value of these instruments are high and can easily sell for twice as much.
The Ming Jiang Zhu 905 Violin features an elegant, flamed maple back and sides with a spruce top. The sound is nuanced and mature -perfect for the advancing players
