Heritage Violin
The Heritage Violin is a fantastic violin for advancing students seeking to improve their playing technique and develop a more mature sound. The Heritage is made with a well-aged, tightly-grained spruce top and flamed maple back. Its beautiful, antiqued spirit varnish lends itself well to a warm and even sound. The Heritage is set up with Pro-Arte strings, but it can easily be set up with Zyex strings to achieve a brighter, more powerful sound.

I bought the Heritage violin after looking at the Ming Jiang Zhu and having the guys at Antonio Strad send me comparison videos of the 903, the 905 and the Heritage and the Legacy. I think the sound is very similar and they look very similar. It just comes down to cost and the accessories that the outfits come with. But in all reality it was hard because you could go either way. So far so good. I think it was a good decision.
We needed to upgrade our 4h violin from Antonio Strad so obviously we came to them. They talked us through all the different types of violins and what my son wanted to hear in an upgrade. We decided on the Heritage after him calling and hearing the tone and sound of it. That was pretty neat to be a part of. They played various ones and he chose the exact Heritage violin he heard. We’ll be back in a few years for our upgrade. Hopefully next time, in person.
I bought this to upgrade my old violin and thought it is better to own than rent. I loved the video call that I had with one of the staffs at Antonio. I was able to view this violin before buying it.I think I will be able to improve my playing technique with this new violin.
I’m a father and musician and wanted my kid to learn playing violin, too. He loves this violin and I love the quality. My son’s improving, and this violin is keeping up well with his growing demands.
My first violin was from here and decided to replace it after a couple of years. This violin is an excellent choice.
