A fine 7/8 size Mirecourt double bass of 19th century by JACQUET state by Jean-Jacques RAMPAL -- the expert of French violin instrument. The bass made of nicely flamed maple and even grained spruce, in evenly applied reddish yellow varnish.  Excellent workmanship, in good condition, projects large sound.
