A nice violin labeled Antonio Van Hoof. Antverpiensis, me fecit anno 1952. Two pieces flamed maple back and spruce top, in shaded golden-red color. Bright beautiful sound with good power, in excellent condition. The length of the back 368mm.
Antonio Van Hoof:
Born 1901, son and pupil of Alphones, Taught in Cremona school, Amsterdam,
1933, settled at Antaierp 1943.
