Inventory/Shipping Associate
Antonio Strad Violin is looking for a self driven, motivate individual to take the lead at our Satellite San Antonio Location. This is a great opportunity grow a business with a staple in the San Antonio Strings community for over 21 years. This position requires an energetic, organized and hard working personality. Should have a passion for music/strings and can work as part of a team as well as independently.
The inventory and Shipping Associate will be responsible for the follow:
  • Managing the warehouse including materials, WIP and complete merchandise in an organized manner
  • Checking Online Sales and monitoring selling rankings and customer feedback
  • Run Inventory before ordering
  • Packaging and Shipping Merchandise
  • Run Inventory before receiving product
  • Receiving Shipments
  • Check and maintain inventory levels for other locations
  • Prepping merchandise for rent
  • Cleaning Instruments
  • Restocking Sales Floor
  • Building product displays
  • Restocking and Monitoring back stock
  • Monitoring Inventory Levels
  • Work with Account to Alert when Inventory Levels are Low
  • Providing Customer Service in regards to Out of State Customer
  • Occasional Retail Sales
  • Occasional Rental Sales
Skills and Work Experience
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Very Organized
  • Basic Computer Abilities
  • Experience in Retail is a Plus
  • Experience with Shipping programs including Worldship, USPS, FedEx is a Plus
  • Experience with Amazon as a Vendor is a Plus
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs - occasionally

Retail Sales Associate
Antonio Strad Violin is looking for a self driven, motivate individual to add to our team at our San Antonio Locations. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a business that has been a staple in the Strings Community in Southern Texas for over 21 years. This position requires a personable, energetic, organized and hard working personality. Should have a passion for music/strings and can work as part of a team as well as independently.In this sales position you will be responsible for driving sales, providing outstanding customer service and developing relationships with current and new clientele.
Basic Responsibilities
• Instrument Sales
• Retail Sales
• Instrument Rentals
• Facilitate the handling of Repairs
• Work with District and Private Teachers
• Travel to service customers within a set area
• Representing the store at conventions, school drives, and rental nights
• Preparing instrument rentals
Requirements
• Must play an orchestral instrument
• Must have knowledge of Orchestral Instruments
• Some College or Equivalent work experience preferred
• Must have reliable car and valid drivers license
• Ability to work Saturdays

Fall Seasonal Sales Associate
Job Description:We are seeking temporary help from the middle of August to beginning of October to assist with new instrument rental contracts. This position will include training in our rental services and customer interactions. In this role candidates will greet customers, assist customers with instrument rentals, handle customer inquiries and transactions. This position will also require candidates to represent the company at school instrument display nights where new business will be generated, as well as writing instrument rental contracts onsite at our different retail locations. This is a great opportunity to share your passion for music with students that are beginning to play an instrument for the first time.
Skill and Abilities:• Must have a musical background, ability to play an orchestral instrument preferred.• Retail experience is a plus• Customer service Experience is a plus• Sales experience is a Plus• Ability to communicate effectively and quickly in a fast paced environment• Outgoing personality• Must have own transportation• High school Diploma or GED required
